Three Lions is a title designed to represent England's Football Association (which bears a crest featuring three lions). There are 32 official teams to choose in two modes to play. Tournament (with official settings) and exhibition match. Teams and players are developed with attention to statistic detail and featuring a unique face for each player, rendered from their likeness.

There is one special feature. In every soccer game, there is very good commentary. In "Three Lions", there is no commentary. No phrases like "Owen shoots" or "Barthez saves". You can almost feel the real atmosphere of the football match where the players are shouting at each other, referee is telling you to stop playing the injury and defensemen are complaining about the quality of the pitch.
